Lake Junaluska Aquatic Center is open daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The center is open to the public and includes an outdoor pool and boat rentals. Boats include canoe, kayak and paddle boat rentals. Pool passes and boat rentals may be purchased at the Lake Junlauska Soda Shop, which is located in the Kern Center. Nearby there are also tennis courts, mini golf and shuffle board. Daily admission to the pool is $6 per person or $20 per family (up to 6 people per family). Daily passes can be purchased in the Lake Junaluska Soda Shop. Admission is free to lodging guests. $5 per person for 30 minutes for canoe, kayak, or paddle boat. $10 per person for 1 hour on paddle boards (Monday - Saturday only). Instructions for paddle boards are required by recreation attendant.

During the summer, escape from the heat by embarking on a guided tour of Lake Junaluska’s grounds. Tours of the grounds by trolley or boat are available for a fee for groups when prearranged. Enjoy a relaxing ride around the lake by taking a ride on the Cherokee IV, which provides a guided trip around the lake every day at 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm during the summer. The boat dock is located at the Harrell Center. Cost: $3 per person, or $10 maximum for a family.
